Ya’ish bin Takhfah says that my father was among the people of Suffah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed people regarding them, so people began to take them along one or two at a time. He says that only five men remained, among whom I was one. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: You people come with me. So we went with the Prophet (peace be upon him) to the house of Sayyidah Aisha. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived there, he said: Aisha, serve us food. She brought some dates, which we ate. Then she brought a little date halwa, and we ate that too. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Aisha, give us water to drink. So she brought water in a large bowl, which we all drank. Then she brought a small bowl in which there was milk, and we drank that too. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If you wish, you may spend the night here, or if you wish, go to the mosque. I said: No, we will go to the mosque. I was lying on my stomach sleeping at the time of suhoor when suddenly a man came and began to move me with his foot and said that this way of lying down is disliked by Allah. I looked and it was the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain of transmission.

Sayyiduna Tufah reports that the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) hosted some people, so we went with the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) to his house. During the night, I was lying on my stomach and sleeping when suddenly the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) came and started shaking me with his foot and said, "This way of lying down is the way of the people of Hell."
