حَدِیث ثَلَاثِینَ مِن اَصحَابِ النَّبِیِّ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَیهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of thirty from the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 16418
(حديث مرفوع) حدثنا يزيد بن هارون ، قال: حدثنا حجاج بن ارطاة ، عن عمرو بن شعيب ، عن سعيد بن المسيب ، قال: حفظنا، عن ثلاثين من اصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، انه قال" من اعتق شقصا له في مملوك ضمن بقيته".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'id bin al-Musayyib that we have memorized this hadith from thirty Companions, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever frees his share in a slave, he becomes responsible for the remainder.
