حَدِیث عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ جَحش رَضِیَ اللَّه تَعَالَى عَنه
Hadith of Abdullah ibn Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 17253
حدثنا محمد بن بشر ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عمرو ، قال حدثنا ابو كثير مولى الليثيين ، عن محمد بن عبد الله بن جحش ان رجلا جاء إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، ماذا لي إن قتلت في سبيل الله؟ قال: " الجنة"، فلما ولى، قال:" إلا الدين، سارني به جبريل عليه السلام آنفا" .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) If I am martyred in the way of Allah, what will I receive?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Paradise." When he turned to leave, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Except for debt, for this has just now been told to me by Jibreel (peace be upon him)."

حكم دارالسلام: صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناده ضعيف

حدثنا خلف بن الوليد ، حدثنا عباد بن عباد ، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو ، عن ابي كثير مولى الهذليين، عن محمد بن عبد الله بن جحش ، عن ابيه ، قال: جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: يا رسول الله، ماذا لي إن قاتلت في سبيل الله حتى اقتل؟، قال: " الجنة"، قال: فلما ولى، قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إلا الدين، سارني به جبريل عليه السلام آنفا" .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Jahsh (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah!
