حَدِيثُ زِيَادِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith of Ziyad ibn Nu'aym al-Hadrami (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 17789
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، قال: حدثنا ابن لهيعة ، عن يزيد بن ابي حبيب ، عن ابي مرزوق ، عن المغيرة بن ابي بردة ، عن زياد بن نعيم الحضرمي ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اربع فرضهن الله في الإسلام، فمن جاء بثلاث، لم يغنين عنه شيئا حتى ياتي بهن جميعا: الصلاة، والزكاة، وصيام رمضان، وحج البيت" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ziyad bin Naeem Hadhrami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah has made four things obligatory in Islam. If a person acts upon even three of them, he will not benefit from them until he brings all of them together: prayer, zakat, fasting, and Hajj.
