حَدِيثُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ الْجُهَنِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Hadith of Khalid ibn 'Adi Al-Juhani from the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith Number: 17936
حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد ، حدثنا سعيد بن ابي ايوب ، حدثني ابو الاسود ، عن بكير بن عبد الله ، عن بسر بن سعيد ، عن خالد بن عدي الجهني ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " من بلغه معروف عن اخيه من غير مسالة، ولا إشراف نفس، فليقبله ولا يرده، فإنما هو رزق ساقه الله عز وجل إليه" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Khalid bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: If a person receives some goodness from his brother without asking for it and without seeking it, he should accept it and not reject it, because it is his sustenance which Allah has sent to him.
