First Part of Musnad of the Kufans
حَدِيثُ ابْنِ صَفْوَانَ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Ibn Safwan al-Zuhri from his father (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18306
حدثنا وكيع ، عن بشير بن سلمان ، عن القاسم بن صفوان ، عن ابيه ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " ابردوا بالظهر، فإن شدة الحر من فيح جهنم" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Safwan Zahri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform the prayer at a cooler time, for the severity of heat is due to the effect of the heat of Hell."

حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن

حدثنا يعلى بن عبيد ، حدثنا ابو إسماعيل يعني بشيرا ، عن القاسم بن صفوان الزهري ، عن ابيه ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ابردوا بصلاة الظهر، فإن الحر من فور جهنم" .
