حَدِيثُ نُبَيْطِ بْنِ شَرِيطٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Hadith of Nabiyt ibn Shurayt (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 18721
حدثنا وكيع ، حدثنا سلمة بن نبيط ، عن ابيه ، وكان قد حج مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" رايته يخطب يوم عرفة على بعيره" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nabi T (may Allah be pleased with him) that "those who performed Hajj with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)" that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon on the Day of Arafah while sitting on his camel.

حكم دارالسلام: حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لاضطرابه
Hadith Number: 18722
حدثنا يحيى بن زكريا بن ابي زائدة ، حدثني ابو مالك الاشجعي ، حدثني نبيط بن شريط ، قال: إني لرديف ابي في حجة الوداع، إذ تكلم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقمت على عجز الراحلة، فوضعت يدي على عاتق ابي، فسمعته يقول:" اي يوم احرم؟" قالوا: هذا اليوم، قال:" فاي بلد احرم؟" قالوا: هذا البلد، قال:" فاي شهر احرم؟" قالوا: هذا الشهر، قال:" فإن دماءكم واموالكم عليكم حرام كحرمة يومكم هذا، في شهركم هذا، في بلدكم هذا، هل بلغت؟" قالوا: نعم، قال:" اللهم اشهد، اللهم اشهد" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nabi T (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, I was sitting behind my father on the mount. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) began the sermon, I stood on the rear part of the mount and placed my hand on my father's shoulder. I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Which day is the most sacred?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "Today." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked, "Which city is the most sacred?" The companions replied, "This city (Makkah)." Then he asked, "Which month is the most sacred?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "The present month." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then your lives and your wealth are as sacred and inviolable to each other as the sanctity of this day, in this month, in this city. Have I conveyed the message to you?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "Yes!" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "O Allah! Bear witness. O Allah! Bear witness."

Hadith Number: 18723
حدثنا عبد الحميد بن عبد الرحمن ابو يحيى الحماني ، قال: حدثنا سلمة بن نبيط ، قال: كان ابي وجدي وعمي مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: اخبرني ابي ، قال:" رايت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يخطب عشية عرفة على جمل احمر" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nabi Ta (may Allah be pleased with him) that those who performed Hajj with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon on the day of Arafah on his red camel."

حكم دارالسلام: إسناده صحيح، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لاضطرابه
Hadith Number: 18723
قال: قال سلمة: قال: قال سلمة: اوصاني ابي بصلاة السحر، قلت: يا ابة، إني لا اطيقها، قال: " فانظر الركعتين قبل الفجر، فلا تدعنهما، ولا تشخصن في الفتنة" .

حدثنا حسن بن موسى ، حدثنا رافع بن سلمة يعني الاشجعي ، وسالم بن ابي الجعد ، عن ابيه ، قال: حدثني سلمة بن نبيط الاشجعي ، ان اباه قد ادرك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكان ردفا خلف ابيه في حجة الوداع. قال: فقلت: يا ابة، ارني النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: قم، فخذ بواسطة الرحل، قال: فقمت، فاخذت بواسطة الرحل، فقال: انظر إلى صاحب الجمل الاحمر الذي يومئ بيده، في يده القضيب" .
It is narrated from Hazrat Nabi T (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, I was sitting behind my father on the mount. I said to my father, "Dear father! Show me which one is the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He said, "Stand up and hold the saddle." So I did so. He said, "Look at the one with the red camel who is gesturing with his hand and has a stick in his hand."
