It is narrated from a Companion that once in Wadi al-Qura, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was riding his horse. A man from Banu Qain asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, who are these people?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "These are those upon whom wrath has been brought down," and he pointed towards the Jews. He asked, "Then who are these?" He replied, "These are the misguided," and he pointed towards the Christians. And a man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "Your such-and-such slave has been martyred." The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "Rather, he is dragging his cloak in Hellfire; this is the punishment for the cloak he took by betraying from the spoils of war."
