مُسْنَدُ الْأَنْصَارِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ
Musnad of the Ansar
حَدِيثُ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith of a man from Banu Dumrah from a man of his people (may Allah be pleased with him)
Hadith Number: 23643
حدثنا عبد الرحمن ، عن سفيان ، عن زيد بن اسلم ، عن رجل من بني ضمرة، عن رجل من قومه، قال: سالت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عن العقيقة؟ فقال: " لا احب العقوق، ولكن من ولد له ولد فاحب ان ينسك عليه او عنه فليفعل" .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about ‘Aqiqah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I do not like ‘Uquq (from which this word is derived and which means disobedience to parents), thus expressing dislike for this word, and said: Whoever has a child born to him and wishes to slaughter an animal on his behalf, he should do so.

حكم دارالسلام: حسن لغيره، وهذا إسناد ضعيف لابهام الرجل الضمري

حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة ، حدثنا زيد بن اسلم ، عن رجل ، عن ابيه ، او عن عمه ، انه قال: شهدت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بعرفة، فسئل عن العقيقة؟ فقال: " لا احب العقوق، ولكن من ولد له ولد فاحب ان ينسك عنه فليفعل" .
