كِتَابُ قَصْرِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي السَّفَرِ
Book: On the Explanation of Shortened Prayer During Travel
بَابُ صَلَاةِ الْمُسَافِرِ مَا لَمْ يُجْمِعْ مُكْثًا
Prayer of the traveler as long as he does not intend to stay
Hadith Number: 343
حدثني حدثني يحيى، عن مالك، عن ابن شهاب ، عن سالم بن عبد الله ، ان عبد الله بن عمر ، كان يقول: " اصلي صلاة المسافر ما لم اجمع مكثا، وإن حبسني ذلك اثنتي عشرة ليلة"
It is narrated from Hazrat Salim bin Abdullah that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say: I perform shortened (qasr) prayer as long as I do not intend to settle, even if I stay for twelve nights.

Hadith Number: 344
وحدثني، عن وحدثني، عن مالك، عن نافع ، ان ابن عمر " اقام بمكة عشر ليال يقصر الصلاة إلا ان يصليها مع الإمام فيصليها بصلاته"
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) stayed in Makkah for ten nights and continued to shorten the prayer, but when he prayed behind the Imam, he would perform the full prayer.
