Chapter on Wiping Pebbles During Prayer
Hadith Number: 373
حدثني حدثني يحيى، عن مالك، عن ابي جعفر القارئ ، انه قال: رايت عبد الله بن عمر " إذا اهوى ليسجد مسح الحصباء لموضع جبهته مسحا خفيفا"
It is narrated from Abu Ja'far Qari that I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) when he would bow down to prostrate, he would lightly remove the pebbles from his place of prostration.

وحدثني، عن وحدثني، عن مالك، عن يحيى بن سعيد ، انه بلغه، ان ابا ذر ، كان يقول: " مسح الحصباء مسحة واحدة وتركها خير من حمر النعم"
It is narrated from Yahya bin Saeed that it reached him that Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: Removing the pebbles once is permissible, and not removing them is better than red camels.
