بَابُ الْعَمَلِ فِي غُسْلِ الْعِيدَيْنِ، وَالنِّدَاءِ فِيهِمَا وَالْإِقَامَةِ
Chapter on actions in the Eid ghusl, call to prayer, and iqamah
Hadith Number: Q428
عن نافع، ان عبد اللٰه بن عمر كان يغتسل يوم الفطر قبل ان يغدو إلى المصلى.
عن مالك، انه سمع غير واحد من علمائهم يقول: لم يكن في عيد الفطر ولا في الاضحى، نداء، ولا إقامة، منذ زمان رسول اللٰه صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى اليوم.
قال مالك: وتلك السنة التي لا اختلاف فيها عندنا
عن مالك، انه سمع غير واحد من علمائهم يقول: لم يكن في عيد الفطر ولا في الاضحى، نداء، ولا إقامة، منذ زمان رسول اللٰه صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى اليوم.
قال مالك: وتلك السنة التي لا اختلاف فيها عندنا
It is narrated from Nafi that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to perform ghusl on the day of Eid al-Fitr before going to the Eidgah.
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I have heard from many scholars who used to say: There was neither adhan nor iqamah on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha from the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) until now.
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In our view, there is no difference of opinion in this matter.

وحدثني، عن وحدثني، عن مالك، عن نافع ، ان عبد الله بن عمر " كان يغتسل يوم الفطر قبل ان يغدو إلى المصلى"
It is narrated from Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to perform ghusl before going to the Eidgah on the day of Eid al-Fitr.
