بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنِ الْبُصَاقِ فِي الْقِبْلَةِ
Chapter on prohibition of spitting towards the qiblah
Hadith Number: 457
حدثني يحيى، عن مالك، عن نافع ، عن عبد الله بن عمر ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم راى بصاقا في جدار القبلة، فحكه ثم اقبل على الناس، فقال: " إذا كان احدكم يصلي فلا يبصق قبل وجهه، فإن الله تبارك وتعالى قبل وجهه إذا صلى"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw sputum on the wall of the Qiblah, so he removed it, then turned towards the people and said: "When any one of you prays, he should not spit in front of himself, because Allah is in front of him when he is praying."

وحدثني، عن مالك، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " راى في جدار القبلة بصاقا او مخاطا او نخامة فحكه"
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw sputum or phlegm or mucus on the Qibla wall, so he removed it.
