بَابُ الْبَيْتُوتَةِ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى
Staying Overnight in Mecca During the Nights of Mina
Hadith Number: 910
حدثني حدثني يحيى، عن مالك، عن نافع ، انه قال: زعموا ان عمر بن الخطاب ،" كان يبعث رجالا، يدخلون الناس من وراء العقبة"
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that people said that Sayyiduna ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, appointed a few men for the task of turning people back towards Mina from behind the Jamrah ‘Aqabah.

وحدثني، عن وحدثني، عن مالك، عن نافع ، عن عبد الله بن عمر ، ان عمر بن الخطاب ، قال: " لا يبيتن احد من الحاج ليالي منى من وراء العقبة"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No pilgrim should stay beyond the Jamrah of Aqabah during the nights of Mina.

Hadith Number: 912
وحدثني، عن مالك، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، انه قال، في البيتوتة بمكة ليالي منى: " لا يبيتن احد إلا بمنى"
It is narrated from Hisham bin Urwah that his father, Urwah bin Zubair, said that during the nights of Mina, no one should stay in Mecca; rather, they should stay in Mina.
