بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ فِي آنِيَةِ الْفِضَّةِ، وَالنَّفْخِ فِي الشَّرَابِ
Prohibition of Drinking from Silver Vessels and Blowing into Drinks
Hadith Number: 1675
حدثني، عن مالك، عن نافع ، عن زيد بن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب ، عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن ابي بكر الصديق ، عن ام سلمة زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " الذي يشرب في آنية الفضة إنما يجرجر في بطنه نار جهنم"
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks (or eats) from a vessel of silver (or gold), he is gulping down the fire of Hell into his belly."

وحدثني، عن مالك، عن ايوب بن حبيب مولى سعد بن ابي وقاص، عن ابي المثنى الجهني ، انه قال: كنت عند مروان بن الحكم فدخل عليه ابو سعيد الخدري، فقال له مروان بن الحكم: اسمعت من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم انه نهى عن النفخ في الشراب؟ فقال له ابو سعيد : نعم، فقال له رجل: يا رسول الله إني لا اروى من نفس واحد، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " فابن القدح عن فيك؟ ثم تنفس"، قال: فإني ارى القذاة فيه، قال:" فاهرقها"
It is narrated from Abu Mathna Johani, he says: I was sitting with Marwan bin Hakam when suddenly Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) came. Marwan said to him: Have you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that he forbade blowing into water? Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Yes! A man said: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! I am not satisfied with one breath. So he (peace be upon him) said: "Separate the cup from your mouth and then take a breath." Then that man said: What should I do if I see dirt in the water? The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Pour it out."
