What is Commanded of Caution in Speech
Hadith Number: 1809
حدثني مالك، عن محمد بن عمرو بن علقمة ، عن ابيه ، عن بلال بن الحارث المزني ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" إن الرجل ليتكلم بالكلمة من رضوان الله، ما كان يظن ان تبلغ ما بلغت، يكتب الله له بها رضوانه إلى يوم يلقاه، وإن الرجل ليتكلم بالكلمة من سخط الله، ما كان يظن ان تبلغ ما بلغت، يكتب الله له بها سخطه إلى يوم يلقاه"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bilal bin Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man utters a word, not knowing how far its effect will reach, and because of it Allah writes His pleasure for that servant until the Day of Resurrection. And he utters a word, not knowing how far its effect will reach, and because of it Allah writes His displeasure for that servant until the Day of Resurrection."

Hadith Number: 1810
وحدثني مالك، عن عبد الله بن دينار ، عن ابي صالح السمان انه اخبره، ان ابا هريرة ، قال:" إن الرجل ليتكلم بالكلمة ما يلقي لها بالا، يهوي بها في نار جهنم، وإن الرجل ليتكلم بالكلمة ما يلقي لها بالا، يرفعه الله بها في الجنة"
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said that a person, without understanding, utters a word by which he enters Hell, and a person, without understanding, utters a word by which he enters Paradise.
