قال مجاهد اسلما سلما ما امرا به وتله وضع وجهه بالارض.
And Allah the Exalted said (in Surah As-Saffat): "So when (Ishmael) reached the age to walk with him, (Ibrahim) said: 'O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you, so what do you think?' (Ishmael) replied: 'O my father! Do as you are commanded. If Allah wills, you will find me among the patient.' So when they both submitted (to Allah's will), and he laid him down on his forehead, and We called out to him: 'O Ibrahim! You have fulfilled the vision.' Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good." Mujahid said that «أسلما‏» means that both submitted to the command that was given to them. «وتله‏» means his face was placed on the ground, laid down on his forehead.
