إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقْبَلُ تَوْبَةَ عَبْدِهِ مَا لَمْ يُغَرْغِرْ
Allah accepts the repentance of His servant as long as he does not reach the throes of death
Hadith Number: 1085
1085 - اخبرنا ابو محمد عبد الرحمن بن محمد التجيبي، ثنا احمد بن محمد بن زياد بن بشر الاعرابي، ثنا الحارثي، ثنا معاذ بن هشام، ثنا ابي، عن قتادة، عن عبادة بن الصامت، ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إن الله يقبل توبة عبده ما لم يغرغر»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely Allah accepts His servant's repentance until the time when the rattling (of the throat) begins (i.e., until the state of death overtakes him)."
