Hadiths 1001 to 1200
إِنَّ هَذَا الدِّينَ مَتِينٌ فَأَوْغِلْ فِيهِ بِرِفْقٍ
This religion is strong, so enter into it gently
Hadith Number: 1147
1147 - اخبرنا عبد الرحمن بن عمر التجيبي الصفار، ابنا احمد بن محمد بن زياد، ثنا ابو يحيى هو عبد الله بن احمد بن ابي مسرة، ثنا خلاد بن يحيى، ثنا ابو عقيل يحيى بن خالد بن المتوكل، عن محمد بن سوقة، عن ابن المنكدر، عن جابر بن عبد الله، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إن هذا الدين متين فاوغل فيه برفق، ولا تبغض إلى نفسك عبادة الله، فإن المنبت لا ارضا قطع ولا ظهرا ابقى»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Indeed, this religion is very strong, so enter into it gently, and do not make your soul averse to the worship of Allah, for the one who drives a fast mount can neither cover the (whole) journey of the land nor does he let the mount survive.”

Hadith Number: 1148
1148 - اخبرنا ابو محمد عبد الرحمن بن عمر المالكي، انا ابو محمد عبد الله بن محمد بن إسحاق الفاكهي، ابنا ابو يحيى، بإسناده مثله
This hadith is also narrated from Abu Yahya through another chain with his chain in the same manner.
