بَابُ بَيَانِ أَنَّ الشِّرْكَ وَالْكُفْرَ بِالْقَدَرِ سَبَبُ فَسَادِ الْأُمَمِ
Chapter: Clarification that shirk and disbelief in predestination are causes of the corruption of nations
Hadith Number: 77
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم الدمشقي ابو سعيد دحيم، ثنا محمد بن شعيب بن شابور ، عن عمر بن يزيد النصري ، عن عمرو بن مهاجر ، عن عمر بن عبد العزيز ، عن يحيى بن القاسم ، عن ابيه ، عن جده عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما هلكت امة قط إلا بالشرك، وما كان بدء شركها إلا التكذيب بالقدر" .
Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every nation that was destroyed, was destroyed because of shirk, and the beginning of their shirk was the denial of predestination (qadar).
