جماع أَبْوَابِ الْأَوَانِي اللَّوَاتِي يُتَوَضَّأُ فِيهِنَّ أَوْ يُغْتَسَلُ

Hadith Number: Q129
والدليل على ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إنما امر بتغطية الاواني بالليل لا بالنهار جميعا
And the explanation of the evidence that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded to cover the vessels at night; this command is not for the whole day.

Hadith Number: 129
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، حدثنا ابو عاصم ، عن ابن جريج ، عن ابي الزبير . ح وحدثنا احمد بن سعيد الدارمي ، حدثنا ابو عاصم ، عن ابن جريج ، عن ابي الزبير ، انه سمع جابرا ، يقول: حدثني ابو حميد ، قال: اتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بقدح لبن من النقيع غير مخمر، فقال:" الا خمرته، ولو تعرض عليه بعود" . قال ابو حميد: إنما امر بالابواب ان يغلق ليلا، وإنما امر بالاسقية ان يخمر ليلا، وقال الدارمي: إنما امر بالآنية ان تخمر ليلا، وبالاوعية ان توكا ليلا، ولم يذكر الابواب
Sayyiduna Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I brought a bowl of milk from Naqi’ to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) without covering it, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“Why did you not cover it? Even if you had covered it by placing a piece of wood across its width.”Abu Humayd says that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded to close the doors at night, and commanded to cover the water skins at night. In the narration of Darimi, it is mentioned that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded to cover the vessels and tie the water skins at night, and did not mention the doors.

Hadith Number: 130
حدثنا احمد بن منصور الرمادي ، اخبرنا ابن حجاج يعني ابن محمد ، قال: قال ابن جريج : اخبرني ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله ، قال: قال ابو حميد :" إنما امر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالاسقية ان توكا ليلا، وبالابواب ان تغلق ليلا"
Sayyiduna Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that indeed the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded that the mouths of water-skins be tied and the doors be closed at night.
