Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you of an action by which Allah Almighty forgives sins and increases good deeds?" The companions said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah, (please do tell us)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Performing ablution thoroughly despite difficulty and hardship, and waiting for one prayer after another prayer." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that this hadith has not been narrated from Imam Sufyan except by Abu Asim, although Abu Asim has memorized it, but this chain is rare, and this is a lengthy narration which I have mentioned in several chapters. In this text (chain), it is well-known in this way that Abdullah bin Muhammad Aqil narrates from Sa'id bin Musayyib, and he from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him); he does not narrate from Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him). The Imam says that Abu Musa and Ahmad bin Abda narrated to us, so Abu Musa said «‏‏‏‏حدثنا ابو عامِر» ‏‏‏‏, and Ahmad said «‏‏‏‏اخبرنا ابو عامر» ‏‏‏‏, and Abu Amir, from Zuhair bin Muhammad, and he narrates from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil.
