جماع أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ
Chapters on Wiping over Leather Socks
(157) بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي اسْتِعَانَةِ الْمُتَوَضِّئِ بِمَنْ يَصُبُّ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ لِيتَطْهُرَ، خِلَافَ مَذْهَبِ مَنْ يَتَوَهَّمُ مِنَ أَنَّ هَذَا مِنَ الْكِبْرِ.
Chapter 157: Permission for someone to help pour water for another’s ablution, contrary to those who think it is arrogance
Hadith Number: 203
نا يونس بن عبد الاعلى ، اخبرنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني عمرو بن الحارث ، ان ابن شهاب اخبره، عن عباد بن زيد ، عن عروة بن المغيرة بن شعبة ، انه سمع اباه ، يقول:" سكبت على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حين توضا في غزوة تبوك فمسح على الخفين"
It is narrated from Urwah bin Mughirah bin Shu'bah that he heard his respected father say: When the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) performed ablution during the Battle of Tabuk, I poured water over the limbs of ablution of the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ), and the Prophet ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) wiped over his leather socks.
