جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ
Chapters on Adhan and Iqamah
(61) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ الدُّعَاءِ عِنْدَ الْأَذَانِ وَرَجَاءِ إِجَابَةِ الدَّعْوَةِ عِنْدَهُ.
Chapter 61: Recommendation to supplicate at the time of adhan, hoping for an answered prayer
Hadith Number: 419
نا محمد بن يحيى ، وزكريا بن يحيى بن ابان ، قالا: حدثنا ابن ابي مريم ، نا موسى بن يعقوب ، حدثني ابو حازم ، ان سهل بن سعد ، اخبره، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " اثنتان لا تردان، او قل ما تردان: الدعاء عند النداء، وعند الباس حين يلتحم بعضهم بعضا"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“Two supplications are not rejected, or they are very rarely rejected: the supplication made at the time of the call to prayer (adhan), and at the time of battle when they are confronting each other.”
