Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْأَذَانِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ

(98) بَابُ افْتِتَاحِ الْقِرَاءَةِ (بِالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ).
Chapter 98: Beginning recitation with "Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin"
Hadith Number: 491
نا بشر بن معاذ العقدي ، نا ابو عوانة ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وابا بكر، وعمر، وعثمان كانوا " يستفتحون القراءة ب: الحمد لله رب العالمين سورة الفاتحة آية 2"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that indeed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) used to begin the recitation from «الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ» .
