جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ اللِّبَاسِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ

265 Chapter: Denial of Acceptance of the Prayer of a Mature Free Woman without a Head Cover.
Hadith Number: 775
حدثنا هشام بن عبد الملك ابو الوليد ، والحجاج بن المنهال ، قالا: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن قتادة ، عن محمد بن سيرين ، عن صفية بنت الحارث ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يقبل الله صلاة امراة قد حاضت إلا بخمار" . حدثنا بندار ، نا يحيى ، نا حميد بن عبد الله ، حدثتني امي ، عن عائشة ، انها قالت: لا ينبغي لامراة ان تصلي. قال ابو بكر: حميد بن عبد الله هو الخراط
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah does not accept the prayer of an adult woman without a head covering." In the narration of Janab Bandar, these words are present: "It is not appropriate for any woman to perform prayer... (i.e., without a head covering)." Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that by Humaid bin Abdullah is meant al-Kharrat.
