جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ سُتْرَةِ الْمُصَلِّي
Chapters on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
Hadith Number: 800
حدثنا بندار ، حدثنا ابو بكر يعني الحنفي ، حدثنا الضحاك بن عثمان ، حدثني صدقة بن يسار ، قال: سمعت ابن عمر ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تصل إلا إلى سترة، ولا تدع احدا يمر بين يديك، فإن ابى فلتقاتله ؛ فإن معه القرين"
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should only pray facing a sutrah, and do not let anyone pass in front of you. If he does not comply (and tries to pass), then fight him, for there is a companion (Satan) with him."
