جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ سُتْرَةِ الْمُصَلِّي
Chapters on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
Hadith Number: 823
نا احمد بن عبدة ، اخبرنا حماد يعني ابن زيد ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان " يصلي من الليل وانا نائمة بينه وبين القبلة، فإذا كان الوتر ايقظني" . حدثنا احمد ، اخبرنا حماد ، قال: قال ايوب ، عن هشام ، قالت:" معترضة كاعتراض الجنازة"
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to pray at night while I would be lying between him and the Qiblah. Then, when he would pray Witr, he would wake me up. In the narration of Ahmad bin Abadah, Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: (and I would be lying between him and the Qiblah) like a corpse.
