جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ سُتْرَةِ الْمُصَلِّي
Chapters on the Sutrah for the Praying Person
Hadith Number: 828
نا بندار ، حدثنا عبيد الله بن عبد المجيد ، نا عبد الرحمن بن ابي الزناد ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " الهرة لا تقطع الصلاة، إنها من متاع البيت"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A cat does not break the prayer; indeed, it is from the household possessions."

Hadith Number: 829
ناه الربيع بن سليمان ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، عن ابن ابي الزناد بهذا الحديث موقوفا غير مرفوع. قال ابو بكر: ابن وهب اعلم بحديث اهل المدينة من عبيد الله بن عبد المجيد
The Imam narrates this hadith with a mawquf chain from his esteemed teacher, Rabi’ bin Sulayman. (That is, this is the statement of Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه and not the saying of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.) Imam Abu Bakr رحمه الله says that Ibn Wahb was more knowledgeable about the hadith of the people of Madinah than Ubaydullah bin Abd al-Majid. (That is, the mawquf chain is preferred.)
