جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْأَفْعَالِ الْمَكْرُوهَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الَّتِي قَدْ نُهِيَ عَنْهَا الْمُصَلِّي

369 Chapter: Command to Eat Dinner before Prayer When It Is Ready.
Hadith Number: 934
نا عبد الجبار بن العلاء ، وسعيد بن عبد الرحمن ، وعلي بن خشرم ، واحمد بن عبدة ، قالوا: حدثنا سفيان ، قال عبد الجبار، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، سمع انس بن مالك ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وقال الآخرون عن الزهري، عن انس بن مالك، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا حضر العشاء، واقيمت الصلاة، فابدءوا بالعشاء" . وقال المخزومي ايضا: سمع انس بن مالك
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the evening meal is served and the prayer is established, then eat the food first."

Hadith Number: 935
نا عمران بن موسى القزاز ، حدثنا عبد الوارث ، نا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا وضع العشاء، ونودي بالصلاة، فابدءوا بالعشاء" قال: وتعشى ابن عمر ذات ليلة، وهو يسمع قراءة الإمام
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the night meal is placed (before you) and the call to prayer is given for the prayer, then eat the food first (and then perform the prayer)." Nafi' says that one night Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) ate the night meal while he was listening to the recitation of the Imam.
