The chapter on the description of bowing and prostration in prayer while riding
Hadith Number: 1270
حدثنا احمد بن المقدام العجلي ، حدثنا محمد بن بكر ، اخبرنا ابن جريج ، اخبرنا ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله ، يقول: رايت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو على راحلته " يصلي النوافل في كل وجه، ولكنه يخفض السجدتين من الركعتين، ويومئ إيماء"
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performing voluntary prayers on his mount in every direction, but he would bow lower for the two prostrations than for the bowing, and he would perform the prayer by gesturing.
