جماع أَبْوَابِ الْأَفْعَالِ الْمُبَاحَةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ غَيْرِ الصَّلَاةِ وَذِكْرِ اللَّهِ
Chapters on Permissible Acts in the Mosque Other than Prayer and Remembrance
(612) بَابُ إِبَاحَةِ دُخُولِ عَبِيدِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَأَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ أَيْضًا
The chapter on the permissibility of slaves of non-Muslims and People of the Book entering mosques, including the Sacred Mosque
Hadith Number: 1329
نا محمد بن يحيى ، نا عبد الرزاق ، اخبرنا ابن جريج ، اخبرني ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله ، يقول في قوله تعالى: إنما المشركون نجس فلا يقربوا المسجد الحرام بعد عامهم هذا سورة التوبة آية 28 قال:" إلا ان يكون عبدا او احدا من اهل الذمة"
Abu Zubair narrates that he heard Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) explaining the statement of Allah Almighty «إِنَّمَا الْمُشْرِكُونَ نَجَسٌ فَلَا يَقْرَبُوا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ بَعْدَ عَامِهِمْ هَٰذَا» [ سورۃ التوبه: 28 ] "Indeed, the polytheists are impure, so let them not approach Al-Masjid Al-Haram after this year," he said: Except if he is a slave or a person from the people under protection (Ahl al-Dhimma), (then he may enter Al-Masjid Al-Haram).
