جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ صَلَاةِ الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ وَمَا فِيهَا مِنَ السُّنَنِ

660| Going out to the prayer place for rain prayer
Hadith Number: 1406
نا عبد الجبار بن العلاء ، نا سفيان ، نا المسعودي ، ويحيى هو النصاري ، عن ابي بكر ، قلت لعبد الله بن ابي بكر : حديث حدثناه يحيى، والمسعودي، عن ابيك، عن عباد بن تميم، قال: سمعت انا من عباد بن تميم ، يحدث ابي، عن عبد الله بن زيد ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم " خرج إلى المصلى فاستسقى، فقلب رداءه وصلى ركعتين"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went towards the Eid ground and supplicated for water (rain). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned his cloak inside out and performed two rak‘ahs.
