693| Sermon on Eid day after the Eid prayer
Hadith Number: 1443
نا محمد بن بشار ، حدثنا حماد بن مسعدة ، حدثنا عبيد الله ، وحدثنا ابو موسى ، حدثنا عبد الوهاب يعني الثقفي ، نا عبيد الله ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان " يخطب بعد الصلاة" ، وفي حديث حماد بن مسعدة: يعني في العيد
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to deliver the sermon after the prayer on the day of Eid. In the narration of Hammad bin Mas‘adah, these words are mentioned: that is, on the day of Eid, he used to deliver the sermon after the prayer.
