جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ قِيَامِ الْمَأْمُومِينَ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ وَمَا فِيهِ مِنَ السُّنَنِ

(61) بَابُ الْأَمْرِ بِأَنْ يَكُونَ النَّقْصُ وَالْخَلَلُ فِي الصَّفِّ الْآخِرِ.
61| Command for any gaps or deficiencies to be in the back row
Hadith Number: 1546
نا ابو موسى محمد بن المثنى ، حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، عن سعيد ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " اتموا الصف المتقدم، فإن كان نقصا فليكن في المؤخر"
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: "Complete the front row, and if there is any deficiency, it should be in the last row."

Hadith Number: 1547
نا ابو بكر بن إسحاق الصنعاني ، حدثنا ابو عاصم ، عن شعبة بمثله. قال:" اتموا الصف الاول والثاني، فإن كان خلل فليكن في الثالث"
These words are narrated through the chain of Imam Shu’bah:“Complete the first and second rows, then if there is any deficiency, it should be in the third row.”
