Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جِمَاعُ أَبْوَابِ الْعُذْرِ الَّذِي يَجُوزُ فِيهِ تَرْكُ إِتْيَانِ الْجَمَاعَةِ

(160) بَابُ ذِكْرِ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّهْيَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ لِتَأَذِّي الْمَلَائِكَةِ بِرِيحِهِ إِذِ النَّاسُ يَتَأَذَّوْنَ بِهِ.

Hadith Number: 1668
نا عبد الله بن هاشم ، حدثنا بهز بن اسد ، نا يزيد وهو ابن إبراهيم التستري ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن اكل البصل والكراث. قال: ولم يكن ببلدنا يومئذ الثوم، فقال:" من اكل من هذه الشجرة فلا يقربن مسجدنا ؛ فإن الملائكة تتاذى مما يتاذى منه الإنسان"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade eating onions and wild garlic. He said that in those days, garlic was not found in our area. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has eaten from this plant should by no means come near our mosque, because the angels are harmed by that which harms human beings."
