Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon while standing when a trade caravan arrived from Syria. So people (leaving you) went towards it, until only twelve men remained. Then this verse of Surah Al-Jumu'ah was revealed «‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا» ‏‏‏‏ [ سورة الجمعة: 11 ] "And when they see a trade or amusement, they rush towards it and leave you standing."
