Hadith Number: 1880
حدثنا سلم بن جنادة ، حدثنا وكيع ، عن حنظلة الجمحي ، عن عكرمة بن خالد المخزومي ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " بني الإسلام على خمس: شهادة ان لا إله إلا الله، وإقام الصلاة، وإيتاء الزكاة، وحج البيت، وصوم شهر رمضان"
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Islam is built upon five things: bearing witness that there is no true deity except Allah, establishing prayer, giving zakat, performing Hajj to the House of Allah, and fasting in the month of Ramadan."

حدثنا احمد بن المقدام العجلي ، حدثنا بشر بن المفضل ، حدثنا عاصم يعني ابن محمد بن زيد بن عبد الله بن عمر بن الخطاب ، قال: سمعت ابي يحدث، عن ابن عمر، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بمثله
A hadith similar to the above is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both).
