Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Seek help for the fast of the day by eating the pre-dawn meal (suhoor), and seek help for standing in prayer at night by taking a midday nap during the day."
