And the evidence against the statement of those who are ignorant of the meaning of His, the Exalted, saying: [‏وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ الْآيَةَ‏] [‏التَّوْبَةِ‏:‏ 34‏] , and claimed that this verse was revealed only about the disbelievers and not about the believers, while the chosen Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has informed that this verse was revealed about the believers and not about the disbelievers. For it is impossible to say: the disbelievers will be punished until such and such a time, then their path will be shown, either to Paradise or to the Fire; because the disbeliever will be eternally in the Fire, and does not hope that his path will be set free after some punishment before the judgment among the people, then his path will be set free either to Paradise or to the Fire. Rather, he will be eternally in the Fire after the judgment among the people.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not pay the zakat of his wealth, (on the Day of Resurrection) his wealth will be brought to him. Then plates of that wealth will be made and heated in the fire of Hell. Then with those plates, his sides, forehead, and back will be branded. This will continue until Allah decides among His servants. (This punishment) will be given on a day whose length, according to your counting, will be equal to a thousand years. Then he will see his path either to Paradise or to Hell. And whoever does not pay the zakat of his camels, he will be brought along with his camels, which will be fat and healthy. He will be made to lie face down in a wide, level field. Then the camels will trample him. When the last camel passes over him, the first will be brought back. This will continue until Allah decides among His servants. (This treatment) will last the whole day, whose length, according to your counting, will be a thousand years. Then he will see his path either to Paradise or to Hell. And whoever does not pay the zakat of his goats, he will be brought along with his goats, which will be fat and healthy. That person will be made to lie face down in a wide, level field, and the goats will walk over him. Whenever the last goat passes, the first will be brought back. The goats will trample him with their hooves and butt him with their horns. Among them, there will be no goat with twisted horns or without horns. This will continue until Allah decides among His servants. (This punishment) will last the whole day, whose length, according to your counting, will be a thousand years. Then he will see his path either to Paradise or to Hell." The Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what is the ruling regarding horses?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness and blessing are written in the foreheads of horses until the Day of Resurrection, and horses are of three types. One type is a source of reward for a person, one is a means of protection, and one is a cause of punishment for a person." Then he narrated the complete hadith. The Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the ruling regarding donkeys?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has not revealed any command to me regarding them except this comprehensive and unique verse «‏‏‏‏فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَّرَهُ، وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَّرَهُ ‎» [ سورة الزلزلة: 8، 7 ] 'So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.'" "Al-Jalha" is the goat that has no horns. "Al-Aqsa" is the one whose horns are broken or twisted.

The Imam narrated the aforementioned report from his teacher Ziyadah bin Yahya with the complete chain. He narrated the full hadith, and in all places, these words are present: "He will continue to receive this punishment all day long, the duration of which, according to your reckoning, will be fifty thousand years." And these words were also mentioned: "Then the animals will trample him."
