Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جُمَّاعُ أَبْوَابِ التَّغْلِيظِ فِي مَنْعِ الزَّكَاةِ
Chapters on Severity of Withholding Zakat
(12) بَابُ ذِكْرِ دَلِيلٍ آخَرَ عَلَى أَنَّ الْوَعِيدَ لِلْمُكْتَنِزِ هُوَ لِمَانِعِ الزَّكَاةِ دُونَ مَنْ يُؤَدِّيهَا
12| Chapter on further evidence that the warning is for those who withhold zakat, not those who pay it
Hadith Number: 2258
حدثنا يونس بن عبد الاعلى الصدفي ، اخبرنا ابن وهب ، عن ابن جريج ، عن ابن الزبير ، عن جابر بن عبد الله ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا اديت زكاة مالك، فقد اذهبت عنك شره"
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: "When you have paid the zakat of your wealth, then you have removed its evil from yourself."
