Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أَبْوَابِ صَدَقَةِ الْمَوَاشِي مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَالْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ
Chapters on Zakat of Livestock
(17) بَابُ الدَّلِيلِ عَلَى أَنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَا تَجِبُ " فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسٍ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ وَلَا فِيمَا دُونَ الْأَرْبَعِينَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ،
17| Chapter on the evidence that zakat is not due on less than five camels or less than forty sheep

مع الدليل على ان اسم الصدقة واقع على عشر الحبوب والثمار، وعلى زكاة الناض من الورق، وعلى صدقة المواشي
With the evidence that the name "sadaqah" applies to the tithe of grains and fruits, to the zakat of minted silver, and to the charity of livestock.

حدثنا عبد الجبار بن العلاء ، حدثنا سفيان . ح وحدثنا احمد بن عبدة ، اخبرنا محمد بن دينار . ح وحدثنا احمد بن عبدة ، حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، وعبيد الله بن عمر . ح حدثنا ابو موسى ، عن عبد الرحمن هو ابن مهدي ، حدثنا سفيان ، ومالك ، وشعبة، كل هؤلاء عن عمرو بن يحيى ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم , قال: " ليس فيما دون خمس ذود صدقة، وليس فيما دون خمسة اوسق صدقة" ، معاني احاديثهم سواء، وهذا حديث محمد بن بشار، وفي حديث علي بن ابي طالب:" ليس فيما دون الاربعين من الغنم شيء"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no charity (zakat) on less than five camels, and there is no charity on less than five wasqs of grain." The meaning of all the narrations from the narrators is the same, and this hadith is from Muhammad bin Bashar. And in the narration of Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), the words are: "There is no zakat on less than forty goats."
