89 Subchapter: Entering ihram when one’s camel stands at the mosque of Dhul-Hulayfah

ضد قول من زعم ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يهل حتى اتى البيداء، وهذا من الجنس الذي اعلمت في غير موضع في كتبنا، ان الخير الواجب قبوله هو خير من يخير بسماع الشيء ورؤيته دون من ينكر الشيء ويدفعه
Against the statement of those who claimed that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not enter into ihram until he reached Al-Bayda’, and this is of the same kind that I have indicated in other places in our books, that the good which is obligatory to accept is the good of the one who is given the choice by hearing something and seeing it, not the one who denies something and rejects it.

Hadith Number: 2612
حدثنا علي بن سهل الرملي ، حدثنا الوليد يعني ابن مسلم ، عن ابي عمرو الاوزاعي ، عن عطاء ، انه حدثه عن جابر :" ان إهلال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من ذي الحليفة حين استوت به راحلته"
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the riding animal of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became upright with him at Dhul-Hulaifah, he recited the Talbiyah.

حدثنا علي بن خشرم ، اخبرنا ابن عيينة ، عن موسى بن عقبة ، عن سالم ، قال: قال ابن عمر :" إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا وضع رجله في الغرز واستوت به راحلته اهل"
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed foot in the stirrup and his she-camel stood upright carrying him, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the Talbiyah.
