جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا
Chapters on Acts Permitted for the Pilgrim by Sunnah
(213) بَابُ اسْتِحْبَابِ رُكُوبِ مَنْ بِالنَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ الْحَاجَةُ وَالْمَسْأَلَةُ عَنْ أَمْرِ دِينِهِمْ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ إِذَا كَثُرَ الزِّحَامُ عَلَى الْعَالِمِ،
Chapter: Recommendation for scholars to ride between Safa and Marwa if needed due to crowds
Hadith Number: Q2778
ولم يمكن سؤاله، إذا كان العالم ماشيا بين الصفا والمروة
And if people need to ask him religious questions, and it is not possible due to his walking on foot, then because of such a crowd, the scholar can perform Sa'i between Safa and Marwah while riding.

حدثنا علي بن خشرم ، اخبرني عيسى ، عن ابي جريج . ح وحدثنا عبد الرحمن بن بشر ، حدثنا يحيى ، عن ابن جريج . ح وحدثنا محمد بن معمر ، حدثنا محمد بن بكر ، حدثنا ابن جريج ، اخبرنا ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله ، يقول: " طاف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في حجة الوداع بالبيت على راحلته، وبالصفا والمروة ليراه الناس، فإن الناس غشوه" ، زاد عبد الرحمن، وابن معمر: ليسالوه، وإن الناس غشوه، قال عبد الرحمن: إن الناس غشيوه
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the Tawaf of the Sacred House and the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah during the Farewell Pilgrimage while riding, so that people could see him. Because the people had surrounded him from all sides. In the narration of Abdul Rahman and Ibn Ma’mar, there is this addition: so that people could ask you religious questions, because (while walking) the people had surrounded you.
