Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا

(277) بَابُ الدَّفْعِ مِنَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ، وَمُخَالَفَةِ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ وَالْأَوْثَانِ فِي دَفْعِهِمْ مِنْهُ.
Chapter: Departure from the Sacred Monument, differing from the pagans in their departure
Hadith Number: 2859
حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، حدثنا عبد الرحمن ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن ابي إسحاق ، عن عمرو بن ميمون ، عن عمر بن الخطاب ، قال:" كان المشركون لا يفيضون من جمع حتى تشرق الشمس على ثبير، فخالفهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فافاض قبل ان تطلع الشمس"
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the polytheists would not return from Muzdalifah until the sun had shone on the peak of the Thabir mountain. So, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), opposing them, departed before the sun had risen.
