جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا

Chapter: Virtue of deeds in the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah
Hadith Number: 2865
حدثنا ابو موسى ، وسلم بن جنادة ، قالا: حدثنا ابو معاوية ، حدثنا الاعمش . ح وحدثنا محمد بن بشار ، حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، عن شعبة ، عن سليمان وهو الاعمش ، عن مسلم البطين ، عن سعيد بن جبير ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما من ايام العمل الصالح احب إلى الله من هذه الايام"، يعني ايام العشر، قالوا: ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله، قال:" ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله، إلا رجل خرج بنفسه وماله، ثم لم يرجع من ذلك بشيء" ، هذا حديث ابي معاوية
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The deeds performed during the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are more beloved to Allah than the deeds performed on any other days." The companions asked, "Not even striving in the way of Allah?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Not even striving in the way of Allah (is more beloved than the righteous deeds of these days), except for a person who goes out with his life and wealth in the way of Allah and returns with neither of them." This narration is from Abu Muawiyah.
