Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا
Chapters on Acts Permitted for the Pilgrim by Sunnah
(312) بَابُ إِجَازَةِ الذَّبْحِ وَالنَّحْرِ عَنِ الْمُتَمَتِّعَةِ بِغَيْرِ أَمْرِهَا وَعِلْمِهَا.
Permissibility of slaughtering the sacrifice on behalf of a woman without her knowledge or permission.
Hadith Number: 2904
حدثنا عبد الجبار بن العلاء ، حدثنا سفيان ، قال: سمعت يحيى بن سعيد ، يقول: سمعت عمرة ، تقول: سمعت عائشة رضي الله عنها، تقول: فلما كنا بمنى اتيت بلحم بقرة، فقلت: ما هذا؟ قالوا:" هذا لحم بقر ضحى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن نسائه بالبقر"
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when we were in Mina, some beef was brought to me. So I asked, "What meat is this?" The companions replied, "This is beef; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has offered a cow as a sacrifice on behalf of his noble wives."
