Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah
جماع أَبْوَابِ ذِكْرِ أَفْعَالٍ اخْتَلَفَ النَّاسُ فِي إِبَاحَتِهِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ، نَصَّتْ سُنَّةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ دَلَّتْ عَلَى إِبَاحَتِهَا
Chapters on Acts Permitted for the Pilgrim by Sunnah
(323) بَابُ قَسْمِ لُحُومِ الْهَدْيِ وَجُلُودِهِ وَجِلَالِهِ فِي الْمَسَاكِينِ
Distribution of the meat, skins, and covers of the Hajj offering among the needy.

حدثنا محمد بن معمر ، حدثنا محمد بن بكر ، انا ابن جريج ، اخبرني الحسن بن مسلم ، ان مجاهدا اخبره، ان عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى اخبره، ان علي بن ابي طالب اخبره،" ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم امره ان يقوم على بدنه، وامره ان يقسم بدنه كلها لحومها وجلودها وجلالها للمساكين، ولا يعطي في جزارتها منها شيئا" ، قلت للحسن: هل سمى فيمن يقسم ذلك؟ قال: لا
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to take charge of his sacrificial camels and instructed him to distribute all of their meat, skins, and coverings among the needy, and not to give anything from them as payment to the butcher. Ibn Jurayj says: I asked Hasan bin Muslim, "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) specify the names of those to whom these things were to be given?" He replied, "No."
