On the first day of the days of Tashreeq, let the animals graze. On the second day, perform (collective) Rami. Then, on the day of departure, perform Rami. This does not mean that you have been given permission to omit Rami on the day of sacrifice or the day of departure. Rather, you have been given permission to combine the Rami of the first two days of the days of Tashreeq, whether you do it on the first day of Tashreeq or on the second day.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted the camel herders to spend the nights outside Mina. They would stone (the Jamarat) on the day of sacrifice, then on the second or third day of Eid (they would stone for two days together), and then on the day of departure they would stone the Jamarat. Imam Abu Bakr (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Abu’l-Baddah is the son of Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him), and the narrator who reported from Abu’l-Baddah bin Adi attributed him to his grandfather. Sayyiduna Asim bin Adi ‘Ajlani (may Allah be pleased with him) is the one whose story of li’an is mentioned in the narration of Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d.
