الوضوء من لحوم الإبل
Ablution after eating camel meat
Hadith Number: 25
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا ابو حذيفة ، قال: ثنا سفيان ، عن سماك بن حرب ، عن جعفر بن ابي ثور ، عن جابر بن سمرة رضي الله عنه، ان رجلا سال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: " اتوضا من لحوم الغنم؟ قال: لا، قال: فاصلي في مراح الغنم؟ قال: نعم، قال: فاتوضا من لحوم الإبل؟ قال: نعم، قال: فاصلي في اعطان الإبل؟ قال: لا" .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Should I perform ablution after eating goat meat? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: No. He asked: May I pray in the sheepfolds? He replied: Yes! He asked: Should I perform ablution after eating camel meat? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: Yes! He asked: May I pray in the camel enclosures? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: No.

Hadith Number: 26
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى ، قال: ثنا محاضر الهمداني ، قال: ثنا الاعمش ، عن عبد الله بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى ، عن البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنهما، قال: جاء رجل إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: " ااصلي في مبارك الإبل؟ قال: لا، قال: فاتوضا من لحومها؟ قال: نعم، قال: ااصلي في مرابض الغنم؟ قال: نعم، قال: فاتوضا من لحومها؟ قال: لا" ، قال ابو محمد: ورواه عثمان بن عبد الله بن موهب، واشعث بن ابي الشعثاء، عن جعفر بن ابي ثور.
Sayyiduna Bara’ bin Azib (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked: May I pray in the enclosures of camels? He replied: No. He asked: Should I perform ablution after eating camel meat? He replied: Yes! He asked: May I pray in the enclosures of goats? He replied: Yes! He asked: Should I perform ablution after eating their meat? He replied: No. Abu Muhammad says: Uthman bin Abdullah Muheb and Ash’ath bin Abi Sha’tha have narrated this from Ja’far bin Abi Thawr.
